Frankie Lymon (September 30, 1942 – February 27, 1968) , American rock and roll/rhythm and blues singer (The Teenagers), died at 25 of a heroin overdose. He co-wrote and sang the number one song in the country at the age of 13, “Why Do Fools Fall in Love.”
